The New
Dimensions
School is a
Burke County, North Carolina
Charter
School currently
serving students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
NDS is pleased to announce the addition of a sixth grade for the
upcoming 2011-12
school year, seventh grade for the 2012-13 school year, and eighth grade
for 2013-14.
We are a free, public school located in Morganton, North
Carolina.
Our teachers, all
Highly Qualified and
licensed by the State of North Carolina, build on the interests and
talents of our children, and those become the foundation for academic
achievement.
Our curriculum is based on the
Core Knowledge Sequence developed by
E.D. Hirsch.

Mission
The mission of The New Dimensions School is to create learning environments that support children in becoming producers of their own learning, and in the process learn to love learning.
The New Dimensions School is built on four basic beliefs about students' learning:

In the News

The New Dimensions School has outgrown our present campus. We are making plans for larger facilities for next school year.
Meanwhile, our current facility at 501 E. Concord Street is available for sale or lease beginning in July 2011.
